I have a need to burn a DVD that, when you insert the DVD into a player, will simply start playing video with no menu and when done, start over at the beginning.
I saw the post about looping a clip from a menu, but is there any way to do this without a menu?
Select desired video and audio for background. If you check looped the video will play and repeat automatically. If you don't check looped you will have to push back or menu button to get it to replay. Hope this helps, Wobbly Boy
I thought of this but I understand that you are limited to 1gb of video for menus. Since the content will be 30-60 minutes, I think we'll run out of space :)
The only way I could get this to work properly was to use the video as an intro movie and then loop the background.....if I just looped the menu it would not load up in my DVD player.
I just loaded a 1 hour and 20 minute MPEG file to as a background and it loaded and played in preview. I fast forwarded it to end and it looped. I did not burn to DVD to see if it worked in a set top player. Perhaps the 1 gig limit takes effect when you burn to DVD?
