This is probably a simple question. I would like for the background video and audio to constantly loop on the main menu instead of cutting off at the end of the video. Is this possible?
DVDA1: Choose the Page Properties window and check the box marked Loop.
DVDA2: Go to the Properties window, find the Menu Page Properties -> End Action section and change the Command property from Hold to Loop.
DVDA3: Make sure you don't have any buttons or anything selected in the workspace and then follow the same instructions for DVDA2.
I tried this with an AVI file and it still cuts the video off, meaning the screen goes black leaving my button only. I want the video and audio to keep looping
DVD players cannot loop video without a "hiccup" at the end point. If you look at commercial DVDs that have looping menus, you will notice that they either fade to black or have some sort of freeze frame at the end of the loop.
JakeDaSnake, are the audio and video of equal length? They need to be. Otherwise, the shorter of the two has to wait for the longer to finish before they can loop.
Also, check the General tab of the Menu Page Properties window to see what Menu Length and Length are set to.
