Looping sound problem

I have a question about looping sound. I have found that when I drag onto the timeline a sound & drag the end to make it loop I get the little notches all along the clip. What I am trying to get is to loop a sound that is constant but instead I am getting a sound the surges up & down in volume as it plays pass the notches. How do I fix this?

" Quick fade length for audio events [ms] "

Options>Preferences>Quick fade . . . .> 10 [default].

Now play with this to extend or reduce - remember, Default was 10 . . .well it was/is on mine. This gives "fades" in/out on Splits and Drag notches - yeah?

Hope this helps,

. . . . oh yes! Just tried placing "0" as a value, it won't accept this. It puts in "1". Presumably this is 1ms. BUT, but as I've got "Quantize to Frames" ON, this is being "defaulted" UP to a whole frame, and in PAL, this makes a 25th of a second - more than 1ms - yeah? So the next thing I'll try is with "Q-to-F" OFF - and see if that gets the sucker!!!

"Q-to-F" does allow for small resets of the Fades to Offsets to be brought to 0.0db. Alos tried Copy and Paste Attributes - no small change there . . . hmmmmmm.... there is going to be a really cute setting for this . . .pass.....
