loosing chapter markers?

When i copy or cut and paste my project folder (which has all of the used files within it) to another computer via a network, i seem to loose my chapter markers on my rendered files. In other words, after
i copy my render from one computer to another and bring it into
architect, the chapter markers don't show up.....If however i leave the
render on the computer that it was "rendered" on, the chapter markers stay. How can i avoid this problem. I do need to be able to move the files and process on different computers.
Thank you.

I believe the chapter markers are stored in a seperate file. You need to copy that file as well. I forget what the extension is, but look for another file with the same name as you rendered file.

That would be the *.sfl file and, if you do separate renders, there's two of them, one for ac3 and another for mpg.

do you mean the sfk?

No, I mean the sfl.
The sfk is the file used to generate the waveform you see on your audio track(s).

huh, it looks like some of my renders don't have that. any reason
why this might be? some do have the extra file though.
thanks again.

When you render your video, there is a checkbox to "Save Project Markers in Media File." If it is unchecked, the markers aren't saved.
