Loosing Text in 9.0A

My first flaw in 9.oa is text reverting back to default with about 200 1.2 meg jpegs.

It seems they are similiar cases:

Case 1: Any text in a generated text media is changed to "Sample text"

Case 2: The generated text media is not recognized by 9.0a and becomes a undefined piece of media (not genenated text, not a video clip - properties for that piece look strange)

Case 3: The generated text media becomes a "red" - but the content sometimes is playable - sometimes not.

It seems in my case using auto ripple, undo, started the reversion back to default.
