As mentioned in several threads on this Forum, some other applications (AlamDV and ParticleIllusion, among others) can't handle AVI clips rendered from Vegas unless (in Vegas) you turn off "DML" before rendering... i.e., render as AVI type 1 instead of type 2.

Question: Do we lose anything, quality-wise, by rendering that way?
