losing audio sync when rendering

I'm brand new to Vegas 4.0 and am on the learning curve. I've tried rendering using the Mainconcept MPEG2 template for the purpose of burning a DVD in DVD Architect. However, it appears that the audio is out of sync with the video when I play the MPEG file. The .veg file has everything in sync, so I don't understand why I'm losing sync. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Depending upon the speed of your processor, sometimes a computer cannot decode an MPEG file fast enough and it will appear to be out of sync. You might try making a DVD on a rewritable disk and see how it plays on your DVD player.
