we got a sony dsr 11 dv deck, when in capture program, and we play the tape, sometimes its a bit distorted, and then if we stop/pause or scrub the tape along we lose the audio all together!
the audio is going into vegas via 1394 (from dsr11) and we are using our matrox full digisuite audio card to monitor back out of the pc.
this is really annoying as there is no way we can monitor audio being recorded into the pc.
is this a driver problem ? we are using latest directx and microsoft dv codecs, is it the dsr-11, we hope to be getting a pro-max box soon - will this sort the problem out ??
any help would be really appreciated as we only been using a week and apart from this we are very impressed !
