Loss of transparent layer.

I have a few animated files from Digital they have an alpha layer.
When I bring the into Vegas Pro 10, I set the alpha channel to set to straight but I don't lose the backfound.

Here's the file can someone test is their system to check whether it's the file or my system. ??

Tested on VP13 and no transparent alpha layer.

By my recollection, with Digital Juice stuff, you need to render it out in a format that carries the alpha - has to be 32bit.

But you can save the day by applying the SONY ChromaKey FX and choosing black as the colour to be keyed out.

Need to be careful using BLACK CK, you'll loose much needed BLACK within the media itself.

You could also try setting the compositing mode to add though it might affect brightness levels a little.

It's good to know that it's the file and not Vegas.

Thank you.
