Lost ability to Record in Vegas 14 Pro Edit.

Whenever I press Arm for Record I get this error message. An error occurred while recording. The system is low on memory. You may be able to reduce memory usage by closing other applications. I am unable to record anything. The system is not low on memory when this happens. Still having more than 8 gigs available.

Prior to attempting to record I can play video tracks, see animated text I have created. Once I try to record one time, I can no longer play video either.

I have tried multiple fresh installs, but cannot seem to beat this issue. Anything that can help me with what I am doing wrong?

What kind of soundcard / PC / MB are you using?
Have you checked the VP audio device playback and record settings? "Options> Preferences> Audio Device".
If your card is set to ASIO, try setting it to 'Classic Wave Driver' or Sound Mapper, one of which usually works, you won't be able to overdub though (old school term for playback and record at the same time in sync) if that's an issue. Another option is to try an external audio interface.
