lost project?

i went through a big video clip, painstakingly designating and labeling regions from the trimmer. i never put any video on the timeline. I saved the project, but now when i open it, there is no trace of my work. everything's blank.

what to do?

What message if any does it give you on startup??

it gives me no messages or signs of error. i just tested saving a new project, and it works just fine.

still can't get anything to pull up though, just leaves everything empty

Can you see the regions listed in Vegas Explorer view?

There is a preference - Options > Preferences > General
"Automatically save trimmer markers and regions with media file"

If this is not checked, Vegas will only save Regions if you click on the floppy icon above the Trimmer after creating them.
