Lost Project

Moved project from swappable hard drive to free up space.
Freed up space.
But after copying file (25 GB) back to original swappable drive Vegas can't find it.
Or should I say I can't find it.
I think Vegas know where it is.
The problem iIsuspect is that I don't understand Vegas speak.
Vegas gives me those choices.
1)search for missing file (tired that with no luck)
2)specify a new locatoin or replacement file (don't understand)
3)recapture media (please not this too complicated)
4)recapture all offliine media (please not this too)
5)ignore missing file and leave it offline (goes to next file over and over)
6)ignore all missing files and leave the offline. (files are blank on tl)
I think (2) is what I want but I don't understand. Mental block or maybe just mental.

Dumb and stumped

Yes, #2 is what you want. Choose that, then navigate to the drive/folder where you've put the files. Choose the first file it's asking you to find and it will find the rest automatically.

The best way to avoid this is to make sure you copy the files back to the identical drive letter and folder name. But, using method #2 only takes a few seconds and all is well again.

It's interesting that wording that many of us take for granted is not easilly understood by many with a different primary language.
