Lost Sound on Timeline Preview Sony Plat MM HD-10

My preview in the trimmer window before inserting on the Timeline I have Audio.

Preview on the Timeline I have the waveforms moving in the Master area but no sound? No I don't have it Muted. Yet when I start another project and insert an non related to the current project clip it works??

No I did not render yet, just doing a Preview on the timeline.

Duh, I had to turn the Mixer sliders way high to make it output. Never needed to before??

Make sure your mixer and timeline volumes are set to 0.
Right click on the audio event and normalize.

I am assuming that makes all the clips the same volume. Thanks for the tip.
This is for 1st grandsons 1st Birthday need to get it right. Years ago I used Adobe Premier 5.0 and then Premier Elements 2.0 This is a big change from both.
