If you are choosing one of the DVD-Architect MPEG2 templates then these do not include sound, by design. You should be rendering the audio separately to it's own file, such as Dolby AC3 (if you have a newer version of Vegas Studio) or .WAV (if you have an older version). Give them the same name except for the extension. DVDA will assemble the two back together into the resulting .VOB files.

If you're not rendering for DVD then use a template that includes audio, eg. not one of the DVDA templates.

Interesting. Earlier today, I rendered some AVCHD files to MPEG-2 using the templates and the sound went along with it. Looks like I have some more studying to do! Thanks.

OK, I have the video file in MPG on the video track and the audio track in WAV on the voice track in Movie Studio 9 Platinum. I rendered to a WMV file in Movie Studio 9 Platinum - and still no sound on the rendered file.

What am I missing here?
