Hello all,
I'm running Vegas Pro 17 on a Windows 10 PC.
When I load multiple audio tracks for a recording with separate tracks for lead and background music - which are perfectly synchronized with all notes of the song tracks in step, the sync goes haywire after I enlarge a track in order to see a closeup so I can make adjustments to some of the individual notes.
In order to get the tracks to once again line up, I must go into the tune and painstakingly lengthen or shorten every note to get both track notes to line up again. As soon as I return the closeup to its normal viewing mode, the sync is lost and I have to do this all over again.
As an example, let's say I have two different tracks with the same tune on each. When I scroll the mouse wheel to enlarge the track view, the length of one of the individual songs on a track changes relative to the other tunel. As such, the notes are no longer synchronized. It's driving me nuts and I am not able to record music with a separate background with both tracks keeping in sync.
I have lost more than a week on just one song doing this and it happens over and over. I'm getting nowhere and it's driving me nuts.
Can anyone please help. I cannot believe that Sony built Vegas to do this. There must be a setting I'm missing.
Thanks in advance for your help on this.
