lots of projects into one

Is there a series of steps (and scripts) to allow 10 projects that vary in length (3min - 5 min each with individual adjustments to sound and color on the clips themselves), to be merged into the one timeline. For a single track render.

If not by script, would you do something with media pool after exporting settings too.

I would just render them all into separate AVI files and then start a "final" project using these new AVI files.

That seems to be the best way to do this in the absence of a nested timelines capability :(

Yes rendering an avi is a simple solution........but i would like to ask........

How advanced is the ability to read all the settings ?
Is there a apecific inbuilt inspector class/function that does all ?

Perhaps not otherwise other NLE solutions would be offering a path to transfer across all your legacy vids from Vegas.

If you want to continue to tinker with the original source material, then rendering to AVIs and reimporting these into a new project will not retain the source material, which is what I assume you mean by "read all the settings."
