loud "click" at end of audio track

When creating DVD slideshows, I add an audio track rendered to 48KHZ WAV file. At the very end of the projects when played on my TV, there is a quite loud and very annoying click/pop noise, which I can only liken to the sound of an input lead being pulled from a live amplifier. I have tried ending the audio a second or two before the video, also putting a fade on the end of the audio, neither of these has made any difference. Has anyone else experienced this, or know of a way to avoid it? Not sure if this fault caused by Movie Studio or DVD Architect.

Just checked - the click is not there when playing preview in DVD Architect.

Be sure that the "quickfade audio edits" box is checked in the Options menu - this ensures a small overlap between audio tracks to prevent the "Popping" or "cracking" you would here if two audio tracks were just butted against each other.
