Low Shutter Speed = Black Line

The black line went away when i turned the knob to 1/60th of a second instead of 1/30th of a second for the shutter speed when capturing video.

Does anyone have a PD150 and if so, can you pleeeese try this test? Sonic Foundry, why the black line? (i've gotton no replies :( :( :(

It sounds like the black line is being caused by your camera, not by Vegas.

I agree, it's certainly caused by the camera, but I wouldn't be concerned about it. It's probably an artifact of how they are scanning the CCD and the type of filtering they are doing. The fact that changing the electronic shutter speed makes it come and go would support that.
