I just bought one of those Intel eXtreme boxes with integrated audio/graphics, strictly for rendering. It came with 512 RAM and a genuine Intel 2.6. Does RAM have any effect on rendering times? I am thinking of bumping it up to a gig but need advice bfore I go and blow 190 CAD. Would I gain anyhting by bypassing the integrated VGA and installing my spare ATI Rage 128?
