Luminance film dissolve

Does the SMLuminance film dissolve transition work in V9? Sony's idea of a dissolve are somewhat inferior. The only version I can find on Scott's Fabulous Website is specified for Vegas 7 and doesn't seem to have loaded correctly under Windows 7 with V9. Is there another plugin for this?

Another way to do it is this:
use a 32-bit project
set video gamma to 1.000

OK, looks like I have not executed the process correctly. It is supposed to install itself, and I think I'll have to copy it into program files\sony\vegas 9.0\video plug-ins; is that correct? The plug-in does not mention any vegas version beyond 7.
