Hi Paul,
I installed M audio profire latest driver (staller: 6.0.9 - Driver: 5.10.0.5082) for Win 7 64bit SP1 from maudio website.

http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=support&tab=driver&serie_ID=2&PID=bc8bd25f18bef1a01107efe1782e66d3&OS=x107

I opened the Adobe sound booth and I can see the Maudio profire ASIO in the hardware section there. So abviously Sony VP is not compactable or I am missing some ASIO driver specifically for VP 11 I guess,

I connected 610 to the PC thru firewire. Connections looks ok.

Hi Paul, I reinstalled the Firepro driver and the problem solved.

Now I have another question. (probably last). When I record into Sony VP, its recording into one channel I guess. (master). How do I make it into left and right channels?. In my VP properties, master bus mode is stereo.

When I play, it plays in left channel only.

Siby, do you have any other firewire devices connected?
I know that when I got the M-Audio 410, I had to buy another firewire card as it wanted to be all on its own, no other devices on the same card.

Normally a mic will be recorded into only one channel.
Simplest fix is after recording RClick the event and select Channels, Left Channel Only.
