I recently purchased my first HD Sony Camcorder - HDR UX10 - Im recording to a memory stick. The other day I took 8 different clips and uploaded them to my PC. This is the folder where they were located - http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp290/TWREDDRAGON/files.jpg As you see there are multiple M2TS and MODD files.

I have no problem watching them or bringing them in - I have Sony Vegas Platinum 9 so Ive already rendered these files and uploaded them to youtube.

My question is there any way either in the Camcorder or during the UPload - process or Vegas that I can have these labled so I know which video is which? Id like to try and keep my files as organized as possible..and If I go on a trip and take multiple videos I could see this becoming a big hassle.

Vegas has "bins" on the left side of the media bin. You create subfolders there, and you put the files in their respective subfolder. So Vegas takes the media subfolder bin way, not the filename/preview way of each file.
