m2v and mpa lenths different?

Hello. I'm rendering an mpeg2 segment using mpeg2/custom/system/and checking the "save as separate elementary streams" button so that my mastering people can import my files into DVD Studio Pro. When I open the mpa file in Windows Media Player to test it, it plays fine and has a length of about 1hour and 10 minutes which is correct. When I load the m2v file into Windows Media Player or Real player to test it, it says the length is 52 minutes! I have no way of opening the m2v and mpa files at the same time to see what is going on. I can't open the m2v file in Vegas because it's not supported.

I just want to make sure I don't drive all the way to the mastering place with my hard drive only to find that the video track has some how become shorter than the audio track! Thoughts?

Nevermind!! The time display in WMP that says how long the clip is was wrong. I pushed play on the video in WMP and then started the mpa (audio) in VV and they siynched up fine. The time display/status bar on WMP stopped at 52:12 even though the video kept playing...???? Oh well, as long as I know it's all there!

Perhaps I should write a suggestion for VV4.0: make every format that you can render to in VV a supported format for import also so we can always test our work right within Vegas.
