.m2v files

I have .m2v files from a DVD studio pro project, can I use these in Vegas or DVD architect? The Windows sees these as unrecognizable files. I renamed one ".mpg" which the Windows media player opened, but I tried to open it in Vegas and Architect and they weren't supported.

What versions of Vegas and DVDA?

I made a project in DVDA2 just yesterday using an M2V file. Didn't need to rename it.

Not sure if Vegas 5 imports them or not.
