mac dv to vv on pc

I just rec'd a digital production from a mac user and when I attempt to download it to my pc via canon zr60 minidv camera, I get about 1.5 seconds of video and same amount of jittered/interrupted audio, then the download stops (camera keeps rolling). Any ideas???

If it's coming from a DV cam, then it's the cam, or the original video print. If the video came from FCP 4, 4.1 had this problem of printing jittery DV. It's been fixed now. Does it play back OK on the camera by itself?
It also could be you've got a heavily fragmented drive, this describes a fragmented drive behavior fairly well.

Thanks, Spot- Yes, the camera picture looks fine but the download is jittery. Disk has been defragged and behavior repeated itself while attempting to view other tapes from a sony cam- tapes I paid high dollar to have recorded and cannot edit. ARRGGGHH!
