Is there yet a Mackie Control Universal Lexan overlay for Vegas 5.0?

If not, has Sony made available a larger version than the microscopic picture of the Control surface that appears in the Vegas help menue?

Mackie should have Vegas overlays available soon.

In the meantime you can download and print out a pdf of the overlay, available here:

We're talking to Mackie about this mixup, but for the record we have never told anyone or otherwise implied that we, Sony, will be making Lexan overlays for the Mackie Control.

We are hosting a pdf on our site (on the Vegas download page) and you can use that temporarily. Once this gets sorted out I'll post back here with further info.

I had been keeping up with the posts about this and from them was under the impression I should go to Mackie for this.
I got an email from Janet Callan [Janet.Callan@mackie.com] at Mackie in response to a request to them from their web site if that helps sort it out...

"Hi, Gary!

I was told that we are not going to be making the Sony Vegas 5.0
overlay, that it is going to be done by Sony.

So unfortunately, I cannot send you one, you will have to contact
Sony for it.

I am making a nice transparency from the pdf. that should hold me over.
Sorry about sounding like a chicken with it's head cut off about the whole thing, its not like the sky is falling...
