I'm trying to to run my acoustic guitar through the MPX-100
effects processor and record it into an audio track in Vegas
Pro.

The MPX-100 comes into the Mackie in the aux return
inputs, specifically the mono left, mono right and
the one right next the two I just mentioned labled
'all bal/unbal. (If you look at the section on the mixer
there are 6 holes, I'm using the top 3.)

The problem is that nothing gets recorded in the track even
though I hear the guitar w/effects. Here's how I set it up:

1) guitar plugged into Mic 2's line input (1/4")
2) to get the guitar signal to feed into the MPX-100, I use
the AUX 1 MON/EFX knob in the channel strip for Mic2.
3) arm the audio track and record into it.

Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong. Note, I'm able to
record into an audio track just fine using a mic or plug
straight into Mic2, so this has to do with adding in the
MPX-100. I'm a rookie and in over my head. Any help would
be much obliged.

Thanks.

You never mentioned what outputs of the 1202 are connected to your
Delta66 inputs? The 1202 is a 2 buss console I believe, and it
sounds like your returns are only going to your stereo Buss, that's
what you actually hear. To make the returns goto the busses, you
must assign them to go there with the assign buss1/2 button.
Otherwise if your stereo output is connected to the Delta66 input,
and you're hearing it, then it should go to Vegas. Hard to tell if
we don't know what actual outputs of the 1202, is connected to the
Delta66.
