For Magic Bullet, look at the Move Look forlder. Read the error message to get the message. When I installed it, I got what looked like an error message, but it said the.dll was installed succesfully.

I have the same problem, a Reg Svr 32 error that says "Load library failed. The specified module could not be found." Only the uninstaller is installed in the Magic Bullet folder.

I have the exact same problem the correct dll is in the Movielook folder but the path "Programfiles\MovieLooks for Vegas\mivielooks.dll". What I discovered is that the attempted installer path really does not exist. it should be "C\Programfiles\MovieLooks\MovieLooks.dll. This is what it creates upon insallation. All I get installed is the delete icon in the progam folder too.

I don't have a clue how to tell it to redirect or correct the installer program. Maybe a Sony tech shold let us know if they can repeat the error and furnish a correct file to download and install. I ordered the "boxed" cd etc abd tried to install from that and got all the above

Bump again Hey Sony help us in this!

Maybe you should contact Sony via e-mail or the customer service line instead of in the forum. That will be the best way to get a hold of them. The Magic Bullet on my machine installed with no problems at all.

OK I'll do that I'm wondering if the one on the a certain run of CD's was bad.

I called Sony-Vegas support on the 90 day deal and the guy that I talked to said call the Magic Bullett people. He said that the software was included with Vegas 5.0 but Sony-Vegas did not support it but to call Magic Bullett support instead.

Hi guys, there is a glitch in the original installer that may affect some users. You can also find a new installer at

http://www.redgiantsoftware2.com/Downloads/MovieLooksVegas1.0.2.zip

Please un-install your current build if possible.

Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks Micah! I installed your zip version and it's working fine now, along with the 5 bonus looks which also installed successfully after linking to them from the plug-in.

I have a question about what Magic Bullet Movie Looks is doing within Vegas. These effects look like things that can be achieved already with some tweaking of levels, though of course this takes more time and effort than Movie Looks. Is Movie Looks applying presets of Vegas effects chains or is it actually adding new effects capabilities? How about the full version of Magic Bullet?

I tried that. I still show just the unistaller in the memu. When I look for the effects in Vegas, I see see one. Am I missing something here?

Version 1.0.2 of the Magic Bullet Movie Looks installer is now on the Vegas 5 download page. If you are having trouble installing MB, please download this new installer, uninstall and delete any previous version of Magic Bullet Movie Looks, then reinstall.

Where exactly is it on the Vegas download page?
planders wrote on 4/27/2004, 6:00 PM
Go to Download, Updates, Vegas 5.0a Update. It's right there.

when I drag the Movie Looks effect to a clip it the clip in the preview box studders a lot, compared to the clip with no effect. I have Pentium 4 3.0 ghrtz and 1 gig of ram. Is this normal?
