Are you on a 64 bit system?

MB doesn't support that.

That's the first I'd heard of MBL 1.2 - I'm still on 1.0.3.

What does this Update do? Anybody? RedGiant website isn't too forth coming . . . 32-bit here, so all working fine.

Grazie

I'm using Windows 64 bit but I'm editing in Vegas 32 bit. Seems to be working now after a couple of computer restarts. Decided however to go back to Magic Bullet Editors because I like the instant feedback to my monitor.

Grazie, I miswrote... The latest update of Looks is 1.3.0

It's seems more responsive to me (when it works :)

Thanks, Marc

Mike, thanks for that.

1] So what is the ver 1.2 I linked to?

2] It appears this 1.3 is to take account for multiple serial numbers. Correct? Any functionality added in this 1.3? Or is this just housekeeping for the licensee holders?

Grazie

Grazie, I have no idea what 1.3.0 adds as the site is extremely vague about it.
I think I'll drop them an email and ask about it.

I downloaded the magic bullet looks and on both my 32bit computers it doesn't work.
I originally didn't know it went only as high as Vegas 8,
I opened up a project in 8.
Selected a clip (1440x1080 60i)
when I click the filter in the fx window, it only shows default filter.
I drag it to the clip.
The pluggin window opens, my video preview window image goes black.
there is no image in the filter preset window or preview window.
When I click on apply effect it changes windows to the looks builder window...
Then I get an error - An openGL error occurred while attempting to load the frame (fragment shader at -1: ).

and that's it.... I get nothing.
Anyone have any ideas?

That sounds similar to the problem I'm having. It works sometimes but I just tried a render and the render was black. I'm back to the older Magic bullet editors. for now. My graphics card is a NVidea 8800GTS. What's yours?

I watched the video they supply with it and mine doesn't load up at all. On the video they have a preview window and mines just black.

I have a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS card.
It claims to support our cards.

I'm lucky I decided to try the demo. I was tempted to buy the full thing.
I have the real basic version that came with my Vegas 7 but you can't really tweak anything.

Try setting Vegas' preview quality to "Good" or "Best". Make sure the time line cursor is over the event you're adding the effect to.
