Magic trick to restore factory settings in Vegas?

I should have remembered this but I've never had to do it and I can't find the answer from a forum search.

What's happened is one of my 'students' has had the two T/L scroll bar areas become black. I'm hoping this might get fixed by a restore to default on startup, just couldn't find the magic trick to do this.

If this doesn't work anyone got any clues as to how to restore the missing T/L scroll bars?

Bob.

If I understand correctly, then allyo have to do is... in Preferences, turn off WIndows XP Theme support. If I recall correctly, if you are not using Windows XP themes but have this option ticked, the scroll bars may turn black.

I am not using themes and have it deselected, and my scroll bars are perfect!
