Magix Ignores Legacy Customers

My computer crashed December 2025 and when I tried to re-download my sony vegas 9 program of course the link provided doesn't exist. I just happened to have bought version 14 in 2017 but never opened it because 9 worked so well. Of course my new computer doesn't have a DVD port so I can't upload this version. Worse yet, I looked back over my emails and Magix never sent me a serial number. Needless to say, It's been over 2 months now and I haven't gotten a reply from Magix whose company is in Germany! R.I.P Sony Vegas. There will never be another company like you. Shame on Magix for not honoring and taking care of your customers.

You can download Vegas Pro 9 from the 'Magix Service Center> My Products'. Log-in using your old SCS (Sony) email address and password. If you cannot access your 'My Products' you can download VP-9 from the Wayback Sony archives.

The final build was 9.0e, Both 32 and 64 bit builds were available 32 bit VP-9 works good on my Win 10 PC, though there are some codec limitations due to it's age. I use it occasionally for audio work using some old great sounding plug-ins that do not run on the later versions,
Be aware the activation procedure was recently changed reactivating the SCS versions of Vegas, Sound Forge, Acid, ect,. see instructions here:
