Magix' VP23 Exclusive Elusive Discount

Hi All

I'm still trialing VP 23 and 4 days ago, I received a '7 days only' 20% 'Exclusive Discount' from Magix purporting to reduce price from $270 to $216 (Suite version). So I clicked their link and inputted their supplied code 'VP23TRIALM' into the 'Coupon Code' field to then find 'The validity of this coupon has expired'.

Am I missing something here or is it click bait so to speak?

Did it indicate the dates of the seven day period?
