Main Concept plug-in

Hello,
I have just rendered a project as MPEG-2 using the shipped plug-in and see a watermark in the top right corner of the video.

Can anyone tell me if this is normal?

How do I get rid of it?

BTW .. I did register the plug-in and my copy of VV3 is legal. Bought and paid-for.

Thanks for any advice .. I cross-posted the same Q in the "cow" VV3 forum.

Tom,

I'm wondering if somehow you might have a demo version of the MainConcept MPEG decoder installed. This would make the watermark appear on video even if the watermark isn't actually in the video.

Have you ever installed a demo version of the standalone MainConcept MPEG Encoder? If so, you might want to uninstall it, then download and install the latest version.

If that's not the cause, please let me know and we will explore other possibilities.

Hi
I did install the latest stand-alone version for demo but have since removed it. Could it be that something is still hanging around? Should I just re-install VV3??

Thanks for the quick response ..

Now I feel really silly. It is not MC that is producing the watermark, but another MPEG decoder/player.

Your reply to another thread jogged the old brain cells. As soon as I removed the other player, no more watermark.

Thanks again ...
