i'm capturing my movies from my sony dv camcorder..editing the scenes...and i need to save them with the highest quality setting of mainconcept mpeg 2 ..i tried this, set the quality to the highest but everytime i do it, and try to watch the movie full screen the resolution looks bad...i think i have to know how to set the custom part of mpeg 2 to get the best resolution for full screen viewing...

and also what codec do i need to see those files that i saved(mpeg 2) to view them with windows media player (i have the newest version of wm player 9.0 tried couple of codecs but did not work) > xp system...
