MainConcept MPEG-Decoder as system default?

Hello,

is it possible to set MainConcept MPEG-Decoder as system default outside of Vegas so one can decode MPEG files in third party applications?

I don't think so. However, if you install most any popular DVD playback software such as PowerDVD then its MPEG decoder will be available to almost any Windows application.
