Hi All!
I have a problem in my Internet Explorer. It will NOT play mp3's embedded in webpages. It errors out. When the error report sends to Microsoft, it tells me:
______________________________________________________________
An Update Is Available
Thank you for submitting an error report. The error was likely caused by:
MPEG Encoder
MainConcept AG is the manufacturer. An update is available that may correct the problem you reported. To obtain the update, click on the below link and download MPEG Encoder (MainConcept MPEG Encoder 1.3.1 for Windows) from the MainConcept AG Web site.

I downloaded the update, but it wants to install as a "demo". It asks for the Serial No.
If the plugin exists already on my system, will it install as an update or will it re-install it as a "demo" and leave the watermark until I get a new serial number, which I shouldn't have to do because my existing is already registered.
I don't want to try it and mess up my Vegas.
Running Win2000 Pro / Vegas 3.0c Build 138 / all Windows updates installed.
Any help is appreciated.
