Ok, so we all know that H.264 / AAC is an option when using Quicktime Pro for offline rendering, but no such option exists within Vegas when choosing Quicktime 7 as a rendering option. What we do have, however, is the Mainconcept MP4 option, but I have yet to produce a rendering that's as good as passing an intermediate file through Quicktime Pro. I really don't like the intermediate file approach, and have yet to see frameserving work with Quicktime Pro, so what are the best Mainconcept settings to produce something as good as Quicktime Pro does? Remember, bitrates as well as everything else have to be the same for the comparison to be valid.
