maintain aspect ration

For some reason when I go to event/pan crop in Vegas Video
I uncheck this box and it still changes all my vaules
around. for example, i wanted to have a width of 320 and a
height of 600 but when I entered 320 it changed the height
too 768. Is this a bug with vegas video?

You also should unpunch the "Lock aspect ratio button" (a
global param). If both of these controls are disabled you
can enter any value-
