Make a movie of 500 3D sequential renders?

The number of renders varies, but How Do I..... make a movie of them? Then later, I'll want to add a title sequence to the beginning of the movie, and add other sequences to the end. If it's important, my renders are all 1920 X 1080 pixels, rendered in modo. I am completely new to this, but I want the movie to be the best quality I can make. I'm guessing that the frame rate is roughly 29 frames per second.

If it makes a difference, I'm using Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0.

Thanks for your help,

Why not render the movie from modo ?

I'm not sure what your question is.

Since you're new, I'd suggest following the Help > Show me how tutoirals. You can find Vegas Movie Studio tutorials in YouTube (some are for Pro version so be mindful of that).

At the top of this page is a Search link, type a key word and read through some of the threads discussing that.

But to answer your "how do I" question, clicking on the MakeMovie menu walks you through the render options.

In modo? That is something I've never tried. While I read some hint about it, I've never had it explained. Can I use the renders I already have? I'd hate to sit through another day of rendering. On the other hand, I'll be making many more of them.

6 months ago, I got the 30 day trial version and called support. The girl who answered gave me step by step instruction, (about 5 simple steps), which I did while I had her on the phone, and it worked beautifully. Unfortunately, I did not write it down. Now, 6 months have passed, and I've finally got Vegas. I was hoping for a repeat of those simple instructions.

I could find no reference in the help files to sequential renders, already done, which was why I called support in the first place. I did a search of this forum and found no sequential 3D renders, and when I searched for modo, I got back one thread that did not mention modo.

As to the question, I have 500 sequential images that I rendered in modo, which I'd like to make a movie of, as simply as possible. How do I do that?

I believe she had me import the entire sequence at once, but that is only a vague impression from a long time ago.

Thanks MSmart for the advise.

An idea occurred to me, does VMS have a Project History saved with each project? If so, perhaps that original project is still on my computer, and I could open it, go to History and follow the steps I used to create it. Hmmmm?

Look for File / Open. At the bottom of the dialog box there may be an option for "import image sequence". If there is, you can select this and click the first image of the sequence. Vegas will treat any sequentially named files as all part of a single video clip and import them as one continuous event.

Thank you so much Chienworks! In my brief exploration of this forum, you are the most prolific responder we have. I'll try it right away. That is one of the instructions the Support tech gave me 6 months ago.
