I *think* this might have been brought up before -- have you tried searching the forum?

Best guess anyway as I've no idea at the moment... sorry

Thanks, MPM

I did a search but didn't really find any answers.

Anyway, I was able to make my little 4 minute movie by clicking on the "Make a DVD" and just walked away for about 10 minutes and then came back periodically to see if anything had happened. It doesn't seem like it should do this. If it is going to take such a long time, there should be a note or some graphical indication, anything to indicate that something is happening instead of just showing an hour glass. Especially when I would check ctrl, alt, del and 50% of the time it would say that DVDA is not responding. I also had difficulty getting it to burn a DVD after it was prepared. I eventually used Nero as another post had suggested. Nero did it in less than two minutes but DVDA had been sitting for over an hour saying to please wait wile it retrieved the media.

I have DVDA Studio 4.0, and it seems to have some definite problems when it comes to finishing the project. I like the other aspects of it though, like having dolby digital now :-)

Thanks again.

What type of DVD Burner drive do you have (internal or external)? I saw this problem when an external drive was connected, and disconnecting that drive helped during the burn process (burning to DVD Folders on the hard drive).
