"Make Movie -> Upload to Youtube" - Where is the fully exported video?

Hello,

I just got Movie Studio 16 Platinum. I used the shortcut to render and export my video straight to Youtube. That process went fairly flawlessly, but I can't find where the final exported video file is on my computer. It's around a gig and I don't want big video files filling up my hard drive. Does this feature upload then delete the video file automatically?

I checked all my drives and can't find the final file anywhere, and it's not in my recent files either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Yes. That is exactly what happens when you use the Upload to YouTube function.

The rendered video file temporarily lives in the same folder your .vf project file was set to.
If you used the New Project wizard when you first created your project (Project/New), the location you set is where the video is saved to. If you selected Manage Project files at the bottom of the New Project window, Vegas creates a sub-folder called Renders - this is where the video is saved to.

If you open this location and start rendering again, you will see the video pop up temporarily.
After the upload is complete, it gets deleted.

*\Documents\Movie Studio 16.0 Platinum Projects\Your Project\
or
*\Documents\Movie Studio 16.0 Platinum Projects\Your Project\Renders
