Making a movie without a menu?

I am a newbie using Vegas Movie Studio v. 4 and DVD Architect Studio v. 2. I tried looking through the manuals for both programs to answer the questions below, but I couldn't find the information there. I created a photo slide show in Vegas Movie Studio that I want to burn to a DVD. After it was created in Vegas Movie Studio by clicking on the "Make a Movie button," a message box appeared asking if the project should open in DVD Architect Studio which I did. When the project opened in DVD Architect Studio, it opened to a menu page. I would like not to have a menu with this project - that is, I would like to just have the photo slideshow start when I view it from a dvd.
1) How can I prevent a menu from being added to a project, as seen when the project opens in DVD architect Studio, when I click on "Make a Movie" for that project in Vegas Movie Studio?
2) Once a menu appears in DVD Architect Studio as it did in this project, how do I completely eliminate that menu from a project in DVD Architect Studio, so that the project runs from a dvd without a menu?
3) If after clicking on the "Make a Movie" button in Vegas Movie Studio, I closed a project without then automatically opening it in DVD Architect Studio, how woudl I then open that same project in DVD Architect Studio at a later time to burn the project to a dvd? It seems like the only projects that can be opened in DVD Architect Studio are projects created in DVD Architect Studio with a .dar file extension.
Sorry for my niavete about this basic stuff.
Thanks.
Richard

I have the full version but it probably works the same way. Click on <file-new> which will bring up a menu chose single movie and ok. This should bring up a search box for locating your single movie. Find where your movie is located and select it - ok. Thats it. You have a single movie DVD with no menu. You can preview it to check.

When you 'made a movie' in Vegas it prepared an .avi file of that movie (not sure what Studio does with the audio) When you open DVDA and do <file-new> and chose single movie you then navigate to where that .avi file was stored and select it. The storage location is usually electable under preferences.

Here is what I do:

1) Once I finish my project in VMS I render it as Mpeg 2 and save rendered file.
2) Open up DVDA and choos "NEW" in the "File" dropdown.
3) It will then promt you to choose menu driven, single movie, etc.. Just choose the single movie and begin the burn process by choosing "Make DVD".

That's all I do.
