Making a PowerPoint Presentation on DVD??

I have a PowerPoint presentation inported into Vegas Video, usual render to MPEG2 for DVD2.

I need to do the following:

No Menus

Insert DVD into desktop player, DVD starts playing (maybe an intro screen)

Press play on remote, DVD plays the so called slide and waits till I press the play or pause button to play the next slide.

My presentaions are a combination of PowerPoint Slides and Videos all into one presentation - this is where I think DVD is better that having the computers freezing or playing up, jugling VHS tapes and slides.

Well, I can think of a way to do this in DVDA, but it's going to be very limited, and it requires that you use the "enter" button rather than Play/Pause.

Basically you render out each individual slide of your powerpoint presentation as a seperate MPEG. I'd probably include the transition to the slide at the beginning of the clip.

First slide clip becomes the background video for Menu 1. Insert a submenu, change button to Text Only, delete the Text, change the color sets on the menu for Active/Selected to None.

Navigate into the submenu, delete the button link to the previous menu. Set background as slide clip 2, insert a submenu, etc....

Repeat as needed for each additional slide.

Camtasia Studio worked for me! Created an AVI from the ppt. Wonderful, easy, not so much work!
