Making a project in parts

I am sure, that I have seen the answer to this - but can not find it - so sorry, but:
Using Vegas 6 Platinum for making a long video (about 25 mins) I would like to compile and edit it in, say 3-4 easy to handle, parts.
Quite easy, but what is the right way to combine these parts for finishing the project??
It seems, that I can have more instances of Vegas running on my desktop, each instance with one of the parts - and that I can copy and paste them together in the right sequence - but I would rather expect a "superior" function where I could say something like: Please render xx1.vf + xx2.vf and xx3.vf to make my final movie...

Vegas Studio doesn't handle multiple projects in any sort of elegant way. You can copy and paste between instances, but it's very difficult to get track-level settings to transfer this way. The easiest thing to do is to render all the parts individually to DV .avi files, then create a new project from these .avi files for the final render.

If you want another reason to consider upgrading to the full version of Vegas ... it handles this process very nicely. You can create a new project and drag the individual project files to the timeline as events. No copying & pasting or in-between rendering is necessary.

Precisely what I wanted.
I have been wondering what is the difference between Vegas MS 6.0c Platinum and "the full version of Vegas" -
"drag the individual project files to the timeline as events"
Now You have given me a long wanted reason to order "the full Monty" :-)

i'm not sure if you want 1 single 25 minute clip, or you plan to have multile buttons (chapters) in your final render. IF you want multiple buttons in DVDAS, then just drag the different, smaller clips to DVDSA.
