Making animation “like-stop-motion” through Vegas

Hello,

I would like to try creating an animation like this (originally made through Apple Keynote Animation) and I would appreciate any help to understand if Vegas is able to handle it:

a) So, would Vegas (studio 11) able to do this kind of animation? Could I call it “stop motion”?

b) Does plugins/software as "StepTime (Pixelan)" or “ScenalyzerLIVE” offer any additional improvement to Vegas to make this kind of creation easier?

c) To create the images I thought to use the software Inkscape (it is similar to Corel Draw). What would be the best export image format (file type) to use in Vegas?

Thanks in advance,

Cadu

You can certainly create these kinds of animations in Vegas Movie Studio. The hard part is, of course, creating the artwork and designing the animation.

It would likely be much easier in a program like After Effects, when you can change "camera angles" and move in and out on objects. But you can also create individual elements, rotate them, animate text, etc.

It's liable to be too complicated to do with some simple steps described on this forum, however! There's a lot going on there.

Are you sure you don't want to start with something simpler?

Hi Steve. Thanks for promptness answer.
I am looking for any way to make animation in Vegas or additional software. This first animation I mentioned suggested to me something not-very-complicated, once it was made in Apple Keynote. But I don't have sufficient knowledge to judge it. Anyway, it seems to be easier than this other animation ( What do you think about these animations and difficult of handling them? And would you give me any advice where to begin? Would After Effects be very better than Vegas MS 11 to do it, or is it possible to take the challenge in Vegas? Maybe there is any Vegas plugin that would give some help...
Best, Cadu

Vegas isn't animation software. You could use it to edit together scenes made in some animation software and render the finished video, but it would be a nightmare to try create the animations inside Vegas.
