Feh. When I was in school a bunch of guys took the headmaster's MG and carried it up about 20 broad steps to deposit on the portico of the main school building. No video though, that was long before cell phones, I'll bet even news footage was shot on film.

Did you remove it? Nothing there? I mean no link.
Patryk Rebisz wrote on 5/4/2007, 12:56 PM
It's still there...

Use Ctrl-U , i.e. View Source...

One could think you guys have never used a web browser before...

:O)

If, on the most outside of possibilities you could EVER be referring to me, old bean, then I can assure you I can't see any reference/link/click-able item within Patryk's original post. Period. You may have, but I don't. I don't see any - promise! Or am I missing the actual point of your - er . . point!

But I thank you, kind sir, for making the link to U-tube.
AlanC wrote on 5/5/2007, 1:21 AM
Grazie, if you right click on the page then select "View Source" or "View Page Source" you will find the link in there.

Alan, thank you for the assistance, but my point was this:

Here is a clip from a recent shoot where a car was blocking our grip truck:

I got empty space. Now, whether I can look at the source code or NOT is by-the-by. Just viewing the page doesn't indicate anything - yeah?

Don't feel left out Grazie. Until Coursedesign posted the link, I couldn't see it either :-(
And I'm using Firefox.

As Grazie has said, in so many words, a person shouldn't have to use View Soruce to access a suppossed link.

Grazie wrote on 5/5/2007, 4:30 AM
Sorry I completely missed the point! Bouncing the car out of the way. Can that ever do any damage to the transmission, if the person was stooopid enough to leave it "in-gear" ; the handbrake; the gearbox/clutch; the bodywork and any "precious articles locked safely in the rear locked compartment. . . . I've never done this, as I always thought it might do some damage.

Oh well . . .

Can that ever do any damage to...

No more damage than driving on any road these days.
Probably less, now that I think about it.
BTW, a few friends and I did something similar to another friend's Volkswagon years ago.
We put it up on the sidewalk though :-)
No people or vehicles were damaged in that prank either!!
