making pans and zooms on still photo's?

I watch a lot of Discovery Channel and A&E type shows and noticed that they use a lot of still photographs and they do slow zooms and pans so as you are looking at the photograph it grows and moves, maybe to the left or right a little, depending one the persons face in the portrait. Does anyone know how to achieve this in VF 2.0b? Also what is the technical word for this type of effect? Thanks

Click on the FX button of the still event. On the Pan/Crop tab, arrange your starting frame, then click the "end" button (top right), and arrange your ending frame.
