There is a Quick Start Guide for VMSP 8 here:
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/step2.asp?DID=760
and for the Full Vegas 7.0 here:
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/step2.asp?DID=696

As far as I remember the 7.0 manual does not anymore show which features are not available in VMSP (was a good thing in the 6.0 manual) - but it is a very good manual for "The Finer Art" of editing anyway.

The Help in VMSP also gives many a good advice - specially the lower "What do you want to do" section.

As I see it the "problem" is that VMSP is SUPPOSED to be a "Light" version for not so experiences users - and giving them the Full manual might maybe overwhelm them....
Just my own opinion and no offence intended...
However the VMSP is close to a Full Blown editor and ceartainly suitable for medium to more experienced users as well.

What I mean is: I have had the latest versions of VMSP and Full Vegas for years and I tend to do more than 90 percent of my work in VMSP...

Conclusion: I think, that the Full Vegas manual still should show what is VMSP and what is Full Vegas.

Call me cynical, but i have my suspicions that one of the reasons SONY has shipped a single manual in the past is to tempt the Studio version users with the features and power of the full version.

Is that true? I dunno. But i can imagine it has that effect.

Either that or it just frustrates them. *shrug*
