Marker mistake

Godfrey wrote on 12/17/2010, 1:53 PM
Now and then the marker is not exactly where we want the chapter to start.

If we remove the marker and insert the new one it does not show up as a new image and text without us having to remove all the chapters ( scene selections) and re-entering all the chapter markers including the new one.

That then involves having to re-make all the highlights and attributes to each chapter one by one - a very laborius effort.

So

1. How do we insert a new chapter once we have created the chapter list?

2,. Ho do we avoid having to go through every chapter a second time to give it the attibutes created once before?

Thanks .

You should have no problems removing and adding scene/chapter markers.

Are you saying you've added the markers and then created a Scene Selection Menu -- and THEN you tried to add or remove markers? That might be a problem.

But, even if you do that, you should still be able to adjust the position of an existing marker on a timeline without having to re-do the entire set.

Thanks Steve

The scene selection was already made and the menu created with 6 chapters highlights,, colour etc.. When we decided to change the marker position. we deleted the marker and inserted a new one but the menu does not show up the new chapter marker chapter start unless we delete all scene selections, and start afresh

That makes sense. Unfortunately, I don't know any way around it.

Why don't you just move the existing marker?
