If timeline markers: Go to edit details, show markers. Click the "empty" button at the top of the number column, all markers will be selected.

Ctrl+c copies this info to clipboard.

In another open copy of Vegas, Go to edit details, show markers. Click the "empty" button...

Ctrl+V pastes the marker info into edit details.

awesome tip. the edit details window has become essential to my process. please continue to enhance it, but please be careful not to change the functionality! I love the fact that you can save presets of the layout with just the columns I need.

thanks SoFo for this amazing feature. once you learn how to use excel, VV3 becomes much more than a video editor. I'm serious, this interface can do just about anything you want because you can get the event/marker data into excel and process it into something completely new. someday I'll post what I'm working on, which is a method of creating an HTML/JavaScript based video/slideshow with scrolling transcription for training interfaces. all the slides/video/transcript is done on the Vegas timeline, and then the data is extracted from the edit details window to drive the presentation engine. :D
